Broadleaf brings to you the finest quality buffalo (also called "bison"), selected from the wide open plains of North America. It is grain fed and finished for 60 days, with only the best primal cuts selected specifically for Broadleaf.

In order to ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained, portion control and added value products are produced right at Broadleaf''s plant in Los Angeles, California.

Broadleaf Buffalo is:

    • Raised in a natural environment, free of stimulants and growth hormones.
    • Specifically chosen from a herd of 22-28 month old males and processed under USDA inspection and the C.F.I.A. (Canadian Food Inspection Agency)
    • Portioned into a range of cuts that are consistently sized, textured and packaged.
    • Great tasting, not gamey. Sweeter and richer in flavor than beef.
    • A red meat that is high in protein, with less fat, calories and cholesterol than beef.
    • A product that is easy to prepare. Like all game and other lean meat, buffalo is best cooked quickly over high heat.
    • Also great for burgers, and making a tasty alternative for family barbecues.
